Alice Cooper Gets Animated For Disney TV Show

Alice Cooper will become an animated character on the Disney Channel series Mickey and the Roadster Racers.

Cooper will play Alistair Coop De Ville, “an old friend of Goofy’s uncle.”

“It’s so funny that they have a snake coming out of my top hat — the two things that Alice is known for,” Cooper told Entertainment Weekly. The rocker is a self-proclaimed “huge Goofy fan,” and said he was excited to play a “nonthreatening character.”

“Generally when I play parts in movies or TV, I’m always the villain,” he said. “It’s kind of nice to not be the villain for once.”

The episode premieres on July 5 at 8AM ET on Disney Channel. Watch a clip featuring Cooper’s character in the video below.
